Pérez 5-5 for Storm Troopers Saturday, September 29th, 2018 5 hits in a game doesn't happen every day. San Antonio's Rafael Pérez had a very special day against the Deacons when everything came together for him and he did just that -- collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the San Antonio Storm Troopers to a 9-2 win at William Spade Park. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Pérez said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Rafael Pérez hit a solo-shot off Russ Wadley in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. This year Pérez is batting .354 with 194 hits and 17 home runs. He has scored 101 times and has batted in 86 runs. |
