ACL Player of the Week Named Monday, August 27th, 2018 This week's standout performer in the Alexander Cartwright League was first baseman Lorenzo Castro of the Newark Jail Birds. He belted out a .500 average and was voted the Player of the Week. Over the last week Castro collected 13 hits in 26 at-bats and 2 home runs, drove in 10 runs and scored 6 times. Thus far in 2018 Castro is hitting .341 with 13 home runs, 43 RBIs, 60 runs scored and has compiled a .517 OBP. |
