Martínez Cracks 5 Hits Monday, August 6th, 2018 Next time the Snaps might think twice about pitching to Manny Martínez. Today at The Rat Hole the Rock River second baseman really burned Cincinnati pitching, going 5-for-5 in the Rats 7-2 triumph. "When he's seeing the ball well," his skipper told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." Manny Martínez doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 6th and hit a two-run single in the 8th. Martínez is currently batting .249 with 5 home runs, 54 RBIs and 65 runs scored. He has 88 hits in 354 at-bats. |
