ACL Player of the Week Named Monday, June 11th, 2018 When it came to hitting the baseball, Joe Watson had few peers in the Alexander Cartwright League this past week. The talented first baseman for Yorba Linda tagged opposing pitchers for a .421 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 8 hits in 19 at-bats, 3 homers, 6 runs scored and 12 RBIs. So far this season Watson is batting .325 with 12 home runs, 64 RBIs and 59 runs scored. He has 80 hits in 246 at-bats, 46 walks and a .437 OBP. Watson has played in 63 games. |
