Hackers Kellum Down with Injury Thursday, June 7th, 2018 The Hackers received bad news this morning. Phil Kellum will miss 4 months due to a ruptured finger tendon. He sustained the injury in the Silicon Valley-Carson City game while making a defensive play. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Kellum sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." Thus far this season in 53 games Kellum is batting .264 with 9 home runs, 23 RBIs and 33 runs scored. He has 46 hits in 174 at-bats. |
