Manuel 5-6 Against Mustang Wednesday, May 9th, 2018 It was a sensational day at the plate for Garrison Manuel as he led the charge to a 16-4 win over the Mustang. The Riverside third baseman was pure misery for the Carson City pitching staff. He left them shellshocked with 5 hits in 6 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. The manager for the Mustang told BNN reporters after the game, "Manuel put the ball into play. He really hit it hard. When you do that, you've got a pretty good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some pretty good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Garrison Manuel singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. So far in 2018 Manuel is batting .321 with no home runs, 9 RBIs and 12 runs scored. He has 27 hits in 84 at-bats and a .385 OBP. |
