5-6 Game for Joe Friday, April 20th, 2018 Hai-dong Joe was a tough out and went 5 for 6 against Yorba Linda in a fine hitting display. But the Mustangs still managed to beat the Jacksonville Hellcats 6-5. "I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody... and some days they fall in." Joe also added, "And some days you lose, no matter how well you play. 5 hits in a game ought to win it." Don't know if it is any consolation to him, but he will get his name put in the record books. Hai-dong Joe singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. Currently Joe has 1 home run and a .290 batting average. |
