Crosby Finally Fails, Streak Ends at 22 Monday, April 9th, 2018 All good things must come to an end -- and so it was today for Rick Crosby as he saw his 22-game hitting streak end. He went hitless in 2 at-bats at the hands of the Lights. It wasn't all bad for the 24-year-old first baseman and the San Antonio Storm Troopers, as they defeated Phoenix 8-7 at The Clone Army. When asked about his hitting streak, a smiling Crosby laughed and said, "I guess my luck ran out today." Batting .300 to date, Crosby has 2 home runs and 4 RBIs. |
