Vallée's 23-Game Hitting Streak Ends Friday, September 8th, 2017 Sandy Springs triumphed over Madison today 10-3. However, that was not the whole story. Spartans right fielder Kevin Vallée failed to get a hit for the first time in 23 games. Vallée went hitless in 1 at-bat and had his streak broken. Commenting to reporters at his press conference, he said, "Some days the past few weeks I carried the club, today they carried me. No matter what, it is always good to win a ballgame." For the season, Vallée is hitting at a .349 clip with 3 home runs, 17 RBIs and has scored 18 runs. He has 37 hits, 20 walks and a .457 on-base percentage. |
