Bennett Earns FFL Player of the Week Monday, August 28th, 2017 Garrett Bennett burst onto the Ford Frick League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie first baseman for Sandy Springs garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 25-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .522 (12-23) with 2 home runs and 7 RBIs last week. Currently Bennett is batting .254 with 26 home runs, 90 RBIs and 101 runs scored. |
