Longhorns Hurler Named July's #1 Starter Tuesday, August 1st, 2017 Brandon Haygood has made fans throughout DOUBLE A take notice over the past month with an exceptional 4-0 record. No pitcher in the Alexander Cartwright League threw better in July, garnering him the Pitcher of the Month award today. In 6 starts Haygood compiled a 2.27 ERA, putting up a 4-0 record, striking out 37 and tossing 39.2 innings. On the season Haygood has a 11-3 record with a 5.19 ERA. |
