Boorman Grabs FFL Best Batter Award for July Tuesday, August 1st, 2017 When Philip Boorman stepped up to the plate in July, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the Ford Frick League Batter of the Month award. The young Carson City shortstop posted a .275 batting average with 7 home runs, 27 RBIs and scored 25 runs. Boorman also worked pitchers for 18 walks to post a .396 on-base percentage. Presently Boorman is batting .255 with 23 home runs and 89 RBIs. He has played in 103 games and scored 77 times. |
