ACL's Top Pitcher in June Is White Saturday, July 1st, 2017 There's something about a young rookie winning the Alexander Cartwright League Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with David White, a 25-year-old starter for the Lubbock Longhorns. In June, he topped off the month with a 5-0 mark and 1.65 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 43.2 innings, fanned 36 and held opposing teams to a .226 average.
