Ford Frick League Selects May's Best Batter Thursday, June 1st, 2017 Brian McCauley of the Phoenix Lights certainly made a resounding impression on the Ford Frick League pitching corps in May and today reaped the reward as the league's best batter for the period. The right fielder put up some good offensive figures as he hit .364 with 10 home runs, 29 RBIs and 21 runs scored. This year McCauley has socked 73 hits in 197 at-bats for a .371 average with 18 home runs. He is getting on base at a .480 pace and his totals also include 59 RBIs and 43 runs scored. |
