Doré Misbehaves, Suspended 2 Games
Tuesday, May 30th, 2017
Hassle an umpire and you will have to pay the consequences. Just ask Jacksonville center fielder John Doré. He argued to excess over a third strike yesterday in the Jacksonville-Temple game at Goers Field. Today the league office notified Doré that he had been given a 2-game suspension for his egregious conduct. Luckily the Hellcats manager and the bench coach intervened physically and removed him from the field. Otherwise it might have gotten even worse.

This season Doré is batting .200 with 12 hits, no home runs, 9 RBIs, .324 OBP and has scored 9 runs.
