Sandy Springs's Carranzo Snags July Batting Title Monday, August 1st, 2016 Orlando Carranzo is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Sandy Springs right fielder joined that select company when the Ford Frick League announced the results of July's voting. Carranzo totaled 32 hits, 20 walks, 12 home runs, 25 RBIs and 23 runs scored last month to put together a .333 batting average and .448 on-base percentage. Carranzo is currently hitting at a .318 pace with 12 home runs and 27 RBIs. |
