Whitecaps Starter Named June's Premier Pitcher Friday, July 1st, 2016 David White of Grand Haven excelled on the mound in June with a 3-1 record and was named the Pitcher of the Month in the Alexander Cartwright League. White restricted opposing batters to 19 base hits and a .129 batting average. He rang up 42 strikeouts in 42.2 innings of work, surrendered 20 walks, and fashioned a 2.11 ERA. This year White has gone 7-2 with an ERA of 3.33 and has 117 strikeouts in 108 innings. |
