Polk Nabs ACL Weekly Award Monday, September 14th, 2015 There's nothing like being in the prime of your baseball career -- and playing like it. Just ask Stu Polk, the Riverside first baseman, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the Alexander Cartwright League Player of the Week honors. Polk piled up 9 hits in 25 at-bats, 4 home runs and 9 RBIs while hitting .360. In his stats this season, Polk has posted a batting average of .289 with 33 hits in 114 at-bats, 8 home runs and 25 RBIs. He has also scored 17 runs, walked 16 times and compiled a .388 OBP. |
