Harris and Chávez Suspended 7 Games For Brawl Friday, August 28th, 2015 Gerald Harris of the New York Ninjas and Jorge Chávez of the Long Island Ducks got into a wrestling match yesterday at Confucius Field and now must pay the consequences for violating league rules. They have both been assessed 7-game suspensions by the league for inciting the heated altercation between the two clubs. This year Harris is batting .245 with 101 hits, 12 home runs, 43 RBIs, 55 walks, .338 OBP and has scored 56 runs. This year Chávez has registered 2 wins and 2 losses in 6 starts with a 4.01 ERA while registering 48 strikeouts and 30 walks in 49.1 innings. |
