FFL Star of the Week Named Monday, September 1st, 2014 Larry Hickey burst onto the Ford Frick League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie third baseman for Phoenix garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 25-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .583 (14-24) with 4 home runs and 14 RBIs last week. Currently Hickey is batting .298 with 114 hits and 18 home runs. He has knocked in 77 runs and scored 78 times. |
