FFL Best Hitter Trophy Goes to Lyon Tuesday, July 1st, 2014 Mitch Lyon put together a good June to earn the Ford Frick League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Carson City officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Mustang first baseman posted a .294 batting average with 8 home runs, 19 RBIs and 15 runs scored. Presently Lyon is batting .307 and has collected 21 home runs, 66 RBIs, .437 OBP and scored 58 runs. |
