Great Stroke: Bailey Gets 5 Hits Tuesday, May 20th, 2014 It was a big day for Anthony Bailey of the Long Island Ducks. He led his club to a 14-6 victory over the Phoenix Lights today at Long Island Stadium. The 27-year-old second baseman smoked Lights pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. Anthony Bailey hit a three-run double in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off Hamilton Collins in the 8th. For the season Bailey is batting .252 with 33 hits and 2 home runs. He has scored 9 times and batted in 30. |
