Bad News for Sandy Springs, Yuan Injured Monday, September 23rd, 2013 Watching Ju-wei Yuan getting helped off the field today at Cowboys Stadium, fans of the Sandy Springs Spartans feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the starting pitcher will miss 4-5 months with a torn labrum. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. Yuan suffered the injury throwing a pitch in the game against the Mustang. This season Yuan has a 5-1 record with a 6.31 ERA. |
