White Wins FFL Player of the Week Honors Monday, June 3rd, 2013 So far in his young career, Chester White has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Ford Frick League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old New York Ninjas second baseman hit at a torrid .423 clip as he collected 11 hits in 26 at-bats, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Presently White is batting .254 with 51 hits and 5 home runs. He has knocked in 22 runs and scored 26 times. |
