Hit Parade: Barrett Gets Cycle Tuesday, September 24th, 2019 Some days you have a great game and your team wins... and sometimes you have a great game and your team loses. That's what happened to Jason Barrett of the Bulls. Today the 24-year-old Durham right fielder had a great day at the plate. He hit for the cycle by pounding out 4 hits in 5 at-bats, had 3 RBI and scored 2 runs, but his club came out on the wrong end of the score and lost to the Indian Wells Aeropostales 7-6. Jason Barrett hit a solo-shot off Michael Bryan in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a two-run triple in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and singled in the 8th. So far this season Barrett is hitting .296 with 4 home runs, 9 RBIs and 11 runs scored. He has 21 hits in 71 at-bats and a .390 OBP. |
