5-6 Day for Moore Tuesday, September 17th, 2019 At The Coal Mine Pete Moore was the King of Swing today in the 15-10 win over the Coal Miners. The Astoria left fielder stepped into the batter's box 6 times against the Antioch and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him. He told the press, "Unbelievable feeling. It felt good. 5 for 6! It does wonders for your batting average, too." Pete Moore flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 5th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. In this current campaign Moore is hitting at a .382 clip with 23 home runs and 99 RBIs. |
