Guenette Smacks 5 Hits for Argonauts Sunday, August 4th, 2019 Astoria third baseman Dave Guenette really lit up the Reno Raiders with a 5-hit barrage today at House of Pain -- a performance that sparked the Argonauts to a 16-5 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game and said, "Sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Dave Guenette hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 9th. This season Guenette is batting .265 with 96 hits and 16 home runs. He has scored 56 times and has 88 runs batted in. |
