Ángel Chávez Suffers Injury Sunday, August 4th, 2019 The Winston Unionists were informed today by team doctors that starting pitcher Ángel Chávez sustained shoulder inflammation in a recent game against the Amarillo Horseman and will not play for 4-5 months. Chávez was hurt throwing a pitch. Currently Chávez has a 2-3 won-lost record in 7 starts with a 3.48 ERA. He also has 36 strikeouts in 33.2 innings. |
