The 27-year-old Indian Wells right fielder racked up 5 hits in 6 at-bats today against them at Stars Field and spearheaded the Aeropostales to a 8-5 victory. Mark Thomas singled in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, grounded out in the 10th and hit a three-run home run off Jorge Gonzáles in the 11th. In 21 games this season Thomas has compiled a .345 batting average with 29 hits and 5 home runs. He has also scored 23 times and knocked in 19 runs. |
