Star of the Week Awarded in BCL Monday, July 29th, 2019 Dave Guenette stepped up to the plate in a big way last week and today he took home the Blake Camden League Player of the Week honors. The Astoria third baseman ripped opposing pitchers for 9 hits in 20 at-bats and 4 home runs. He put together a sizzling .450 batting average as he knocked in 13 runs and scored 5 times. On the season, Guenette is batting .258 with 15 home runs and 80 RBIs. He has played in 84 games. |
