Big Bat Pays Off, Iwata Player of the Week Monday, July 29th, 2019 Toin Iwata is respected by most South Bay Arsenal fans for his no-frills style of play. The 25-year-old center fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Kade Stenson League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .579 average (11-19) with 5 home runs, 11 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This year Iwata is batting .359 with 10 home runs and 25 RBIs. In 29 games he has scored 21 times. |
