Cooke Wins KSL Player of the Week Trophy

Shane Cooke burst onto the Kade Stenson League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie second baseman for Durham garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy.
The 23-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .353 (6-17) with 3 home runs and 4 RBIs last week.
In 92 games this season Cooke has compiled a .307 batting average with 120 hits and 13 home runs. He has also scored 61 times and knocked in 48 runs.
