Argonauts Yuan Down with Injury Thursday, July 4th, 2019 Ju-wei Yuan of the Astoria Argonauts could be headed for the disabled list after suffering a torn ulnar collateral ligament in a game against the Minneapolis Freeze. He is expected to miss at least 13 months. The Astoria reliever was injured throwing a pitch. For the season Yuan has made 41 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 2-2 won-lost mark and a 5.76 ERA. In pitching 45.1 innings, he has totaled 68 strikeouts and 19 walks. |
