Blake Camden League Names #1 Pitcher in June Monday, July 1st, 2019 June's best hurler was Tsukasa Yamanoue of Antioch. He overwhelmed BCL hitters all month long and captured the Pitcher of the Month award as he collected a 5-1 record in 6 starts. The 30-year-old Yamanoue added 36 strikeouts in 37.2 innings and 16 walks to his season record and compiled a 2.39 ERA. Other clubs hit .227 against him. For this year Yamanoue has chalked up 10 wins and 3 losses in 16 starts with 97 strikeouts in 101 innings and a 3.03 ERA. |
