Reliever Gonzáles Top KSL Pitcher in June Monday, July 1st, 2019 Jorge Gonzáles has been around the league long enough to know that relievers are often overlooked. That has never stopped him from doing what he does best -- and he did it extremely well in June and stole away with the Kade Stenson League Pitcher of the Month award. The Bulls bullpen ace collected 11 saves and 17 strikeouts in 15.2 innings, holding the opposition to a .220 average and posting a 0.57 ERA and a 1-1 record. Looking at his season stats to date, Gonzáles has 20 saves in 37 relief appearances with a 4-5 mark and 3.46 ERA. |
