Super Week for Amarillo's Smith! Monday, June 24th, 2019 So far in his young career, Edgar Smith has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Kade Stenson League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Amarillo Horseman right fielder hit at a torrid .556 clip as he collected 15 hits in 27 at-bats, 1 home run, 9 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Smith has a .345 average and a .422 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 51 hits, 6 home runs and driven in 33 runs. |
