Inoue Raps Mdewanketon for 5 Hits Tuesday, June 18th, 2019 There are moments in a player's career that are etched into their memories forever. Kamatari Inoue of the Amarillo Horseman had one of those moments when he went 5 for 6 at the plate today in the 9-8 win over the Mdewanketon Sabercats at Horseman Field. The 19-year-old second baseman told reporters in the postgame interview, "This is a day I won't forget soon, but I'll settle to just get a hit or two every day... enough hits to hang around the league a little bit longer... like 10... 15 more years maybe." Kamatari Inoue singled in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th and singled in the 9th. So far this year Inoue is batting .268 with no home runs. |
