Raiders Sasaki Down with Injury Saturday, June 15th, 2019 The Reno Raiders learned that Yoshiki Sasaki is likely to be out for 4-5 months after he injured himself colliding with a player at a base in today's game against the Astoria Argonauts. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a torn labrum. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Reno manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Yoshiki is back in action." Sasaki is presently batting .336 with 5 home runs, 46 runs scored and 28 RBIs. His OBP is .410. |
