BCL's Top Pitcher in May Is Hood Saturday, June 1st, 2019 Robert Hood hasn't been around the big leagues long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning Blake Camden League Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In May the Reno starter earned a 4-1 mark in 5 starts. He threw 37.2 innings, struck out 28 and compiled a solid 2.87 ERA. Looking at his season stats, Hood has won 7 and lost 2, collecting 41 strikeouts and 14 walks in 70 innings with a 4.63 ERA. |
