El Paso's Wheeler Bags KSL Batting Award Saturday, June 1st, 2019 Carlton Wheeler has a lot going for him. The El Paso center fielder just broke into the majors this year and now the Kade Stenson League has just picked him as its top hitter for May. In 29 games last month, this outstanding rookie batted .354 with 8 home runs, 27 RBIs and 33 runs scored. Wheeler is hitting .347 for the season with 8 home runs, 31 RBIs and 37 runs scored. He has 58 hits in 167 at-bats and played in 41 games. |
