Ángel Sánchez Shelved by Injury Friday, May 24th, 2019 Ángel Sánchez had to leave the Bulls game against Westwood after suffering a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch. He will be out of the lineup at least 8 months. He told reporters, "I just felt a sharp pain when it happened. I knew there was something wrong." Sánchez has made 22 relief appearances this year and notched no saves. To date in 29.2 innings he has a 4-3 record, 6.07 ERA with 40 strikeouts and 20 walks. |
