Paredes Slaps 5 Hits Tuesday, May 21st, 2019 Luis Paredes had an answer for everything the Springfield Reformers threw him today in the Philadelphia 10-8 triumph at Wittenburg Field. He made good contact 5 times and 5 times he drilled the ball for a base hit. The Philadelphia second baseman went 5 for 5 in the game to put his name in the record book. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Paredes said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Luis Paredes tripled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
