Ota Suspended by League Saturday, April 20th, 2019 Makoto Ota is not exactly engendering good will with the men in blue these days. At least that was the case yesterday at the Reno-Astoria game. He became highly abusive when he was called out on strikes. That behavior was unacceptable to league disciplinary officials and they notified the Raiders center fielder that he had been suspended for 3 games. So far on the season Ota is hitting .197 with 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and 11 runs scored. He has 15 hits and played in 18 games. |
