Warriors Frederick Smacks 5 Hits Tuesday, April 16th, 2019 It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-6 day. It might come around only once in a career -- a lot of players never have one -- but Kris Frederick got one today. He scattered hits all over Bulldog Stadium to pace Westwood to a 14-6 victory over Winston. The Winston skipper told reporters in the press room, "Tip your hat to him. He hit some good pitches. According to the scouting report, Frederick hit several that he is not supposed to hit." Kris Frederick singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. This year Frederick has 2 home runs and a .321 batting average. |
