Kessler's Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Wednesday, June 27th, 2012 Everyone in Coronado is getting excited about Joe Kessler's hitting streak. The 27-year-old catcher extended it today to 20 games with 1 hit against Durham. The Phantoms took the Bulls 12-5. Joe Kessler flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Mike Park in the 4th, walked in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and struck out in the 7th. Kessler is swinging at a .302 pace on the year with 12 home runs, 46 RBIs and 43 runs scored. He has played in 70 games. |
