Dennis Slaps 5 Hits Tuesday, September 25th, 2018 Shawn Dennis put on a hitting clinic today as the Raptors dumped the Banditos 10-6 at Underdogs Ballpark. The Toledo first baseman sprayed hits all over the ballpark by lashing Acapulco pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that he just hit it where they pitched it. "Too often I try to pull the ball too much. Today I just went with the pitch." Shawn Dennis struck out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and singled in the 9th. During the current season Dennis is batting at a .232 clip with 2 home runs and 8 RBIs. He has played in 45 games and scored 12 times. |
