Yamasaki Ups Hit Streak to 32 Consecutive Games Friday, September 14th, 2018 The Amarillo Horseman stopped the Mdewanketon Sabercats today 10-5 and Kiyonobu Yamasaki was able to hit safely again. The Amarillo left fielder got 3 hits and ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 32. Yamasaki was excited after the victory and told the press, "I want to get a hit every time up. I want to get a hit every game I play. I want to win every game for the greatest fans in the world, Horseman fans!" Kiyonobu Yamasaki doubled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th and hit an RBI single in the 7th. Hitting .325 to date, Yamasaki has 10 home runs and 80 RBIs. He has played in 130 games. |
