Yamasaki's Hit Streak Soars to 20 Games Monday, August 27th, 2018 The hot bat of Horseman left fielder Kiyonobu Yamasaki continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 20 games after he went 1-for-5 in today's 14-6 loss to the Aeropostales at Horseman Field. Kiyonobu Yamasaki flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. This year Yamasaki has socked 163 hits in 515 at-bats for a .317 average with 9 home runs. He is getting on base at a .363 pace and his totals also include 66 RBIs and 75 runs scored. |
