Hernández Bashes 5 Base Hits Monday, August 13th, 2018 The Horseman tripped up the Argonauts 13-3 today, led by Víctor Hernández, their 23-year-old right fielder. He tagged Astoria pitching for 5 hits, making life miserable for them the entire game. Víctor Hernández doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off John Bailey in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, doubled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. Thus far this season in 109 games Hernández is batting .303 with 14 home runs, 77 RBIs and 65 runs scored. He has 125 hits in 412 at-bats. |
