Minneapolis 2B Will Miss 2 Games, Suspended by League
Friday, August 10th, 2018
The suspension of second baseman Paco Feliciano did not sit well with the Minneapolis Freeze. Both Feliciano and his manager were livid at what both say is an unjustified 2-game suspension issued today by league officials. Feliciano was suspended for "inappropriate conduct" during a game against the Leningrad Communists yesterday at Bulldog Stadium.

Feliciano was ejected from the game for arguing a strike call. "It's not right," he said, adding, "I didn't do anything to deserve this. Eject me, but don't suspend me."

His manager also vented his displeasure. "Arguments go on all the time, face-to-face, and there's not a suspension. To be suspended is ridiculous. That's bull."

Feliciano did more than just argue the call, he threw his bat at the feet of the umpire and walked off the field. That is the main reason the league suspended him.

Feliciano is presently batting .255 with no home runs, 8 runs scored and 14 RBIs. His OBP is .296.
